Have been working out here for almost 7 years, predominantly Crossfit and CrossFit Endurance classes. Good mix of classes for early birds or after work. Ashley Kitchens. I had Athletic Lab on my radar for one year before I finally joined and my only regret is not joining sooner. The facility is big, spacious, and clean. The equipment is top-notch. The coaches are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. Athletic Lab has given me the opportunity to finally realize my dreams of pursuing competitive Olympic weightlifting.

The training is excellent. I've improved more in the 6 months I've been training at AL than in years of training at other gyms. If you're thinking about joining, don't hesitate! No other facility compares.

I have been a member of Athletic lab for 9 years now. I have worked with all of the coaches and enjoyed all of their individual expertise. ONE STAR in particular is Craig Kleinberg. I always look forward to seeing Craig at 6 am. He gives me great advice on how to improve my lifts, is fun to be around, and his music selection is superb.

Meredith Worrell. I've been a member at Athletic Lab since My husband and I had been working out at a conventional gym and wanted to try something different. We looked into trying out the Crossfit classes offered by AL. We were blown away by how friendly and encouraging not only the coaches and staff were to us, but also the other members there working out together.

We were instantly hooked! In the past nine years, we've met some incredible people and accomplished health and fitness goals I never imagined I would at this stage in my life. Before starting at AL, I'd never even run a mile or done a pull up.

I recently moved to Cary from NH for a new position with my employer. I used to work out multiple times a week back up north but when I moved, I took time off from my work out routine. Finally after several weeks and 3 burpees later, I found Athletic Lab.

They are very professional and motivational. As a result of them continuing to work with me, I was able to place 35th overall in a Battle Frog Race. The entire staff is very professional and wants to work with everyone in helping them achieve their goal. I especially enjoyed the postcard I recently received congratulating me on my new back squat max.

Always updating their equipment and adding options to provide balanced workout options. This gym produces athletes but also works for the weekend warriors looking improve their overall wellness and fitness.

Body weight exercises are the primary modality performed. Participants at this stage are learning proper movement mechanics that translate in improving speed and agility.

Weight training is also introduced in a safe manner that is specific to the individual. The overall focus is for constant improvement, and if interested, preparation for college sport.

This is a large group training class where everyone trains like an athlete and the same programming principals are applied but for the adult population. Whether the goal is for increased performance for a recreational sport or simply to regain some of the agility, coordination and power from your youth, this program could be for you.

A lot of emphasis on warming up and cooling down properly is built into the program. Any Age. Private sports performance training is for the athlete who desires a custom program catered specifically to their individual needs and specific sport.

Scheduling is athlete specific and each workout is customized to build off of the one prior. This option is designed to provide the most flexibility for a long-term training program. Any Age Combination Programs add both private training sessions and group schedule access together for a condensed, monthly program at a lower cost.
