You name it. So, this year I wanted to throw a super easy and cheap birthday party. First I started by making some DIY Tissue Paper Tassels. After the pictures were done, I made the tassels into a banner and hung it on the wall for the party. I am SO in love with the tassels! They look amazing and are super easy and cheap to make.

Since I loved the tassels so much, I made a mini banner for the cake. I bought the cake at a local bakery. It was white cake with raspberry filling of course. I did make some cream cheese sugar cookie bars with cream cheese icing and some more tassels.

A huge Thank You to PartyPail for supplying the party with tablecloths, place mats, napkins, plates, cups, cutlery and paper straws. PartyPail also has other quality products with great customer service and fast shipping.

I will be ordering from them for the next party. For one more decoration idea, I made a hot air balloon using a paper lantern that I ordered from PartyPail.

I used scrapbook paper and punches to make bunting for the balloon and had my husband tie twine for the rope. I also added a little basket using a paper treat cup and tied yet another tassel banner to the basket. Do you see a theme here? We had a great time celebrating with family.

I love how simple and low key this party was. No hands allowed! How to Play: 1. Have a bowl for each player 2. Place berry or berries at the bottom of each bowl 3. Fill bowls with whipped cream to hide the berries 4. Without using hands, the first person to find the berry or berries wins!

Variation: 1. At your next outdoor party, incorporate food games for a great way to build teamwork, bring people together and break the ice among party-goers! Our Berry Relay Race uses chopsticks or spoons to pass delicate and delicious berries between teammates.

The first team to cross the finish line wins! How to play: 1. Divide into teams 2. Establish a start line and a finish line 3. Line the players up at the start line 4. Give each player a set of chopsticks or a spoon and a berry to hold in the chopsticks or spoon 5.

Carrying the berry in the chopsticks or spoon, the players must make it to the finish line and back before handing the berry off the next teammate 6. Once players arrive at the finish line, have them sit down 7. The first team with all players seated wins!

A favorite color, a favorite movie, and—of course—a favorite berry. These are probably the things we know about our spouses, partners, siblings, and besties. Want to put your knowledge to the test?
